Mini Crafters Easter Special Age 2+

Come and experience an hour of relaxing and healing sound therapy with voice, gongs, biosonic tuning forks, drumming & singing bowls. 

You will need to bring something soft to lie on like a yoga mat or air mattress. You will need a cushion and blanket. Bring water to drink. It is preferable to be lying down but you can be seated if required. Please arrive 10mins before the session starts.

Macrame Egg and Bunny Decoration 
Come and learn a simple macrame knot technique that is worked on wire to make a beautiful egg decoration. Embelish it with a wooden bunny and flowers. It's up to you if you wish to add more detail to the rabbit!

Button Flower Posy 
Learn how to wire felt shapes and buttons to make an adorable posy of flowers. You will also learn how to attach florist tape if you want to have a thickens stem. We have lots colourful buttons and felt shapes for you to create your design from.

Age 8+ Thursday 10th April:
Pressed Flower Lanterns 8+
Come and design a spring time lantern using delicate pressed, dried flowers. You will have time to design where you place the flowers and add beautiful life-like butterfly embellishments too. You'll then learn how to attach them to your glass jar with top tips given along the way. You'll take away a battery tealight too, so you can see your work beautifully lit up at home.

Friday 11th April

Spring Egg Dioramas - 5+
We've gone miniature again! 
Come and make the most adorable egg decorations that will have parents and grand parents feeling nostalgic as youngsters discover Easter traditions from times past! 
Each participant will have an open papier mache egg as a 'blank canvas'. You will have access to decopatch papers, a beautiful selection of paints and ribbons to decorate the outside and inside of your eggs. A little time will be needed to let things dry - maybe time for a treat?! Then you will make a 3D 'picture' inside your egg - choosing from a selection of miniature spring themed items like bunnies, chicks, baskets, fencing, flowers etc. So much fun to be had! Depending on the age of your child, parents and carers may want to get involved too!

Easter Diorama Special Age 5+

Everyone can benefit from the therapeutic and health benefits of yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

For children the idea is to encourage them to use these 3 techniques whenever they need to find calm, refocus their energy and concentrate on a specific task.

During this Yoga Workshop there will be time to explore each technique with a fun Spring / Easter theme - yoga, meditation and a mindfulness craft!

There will also be a small crystal gift to take home at the end of the session.

**Cotton cord wire words**

Come and learn a time saving technique to make those on trend 'knitted' wire words. 

We have a lovely selection of beautiful cotton cord, that will work it's magic when paired with wire to make words.   

They'll look beautiful hung up on a wall or propped up on a shelf. 

You will learn how to thread the wire through the cord and shape it to make unique words with a beautiful font. You'll practise first with a two letter word. 

Once you feel confident, bigger words are for you to choose; you might like 'hello' or 'wild', 'love' or 'live', 'grow' or 'hope'. Whatever word you have in mind, we can guarantee it will look fabulous!

You'll have everything you need to make word(s)of up to 5 letters long in this beginner's session of one and a half hours. 

You'll also have the opportunity to purchase more cord and wire to take home with you and make some more!

After the success of our Cotton Cord Wire Words Workshop, we are so pleased to share with you our Cotton Cord Flowers and Foliage Workshop! 

This is for those botanical lovers out there! With Mother's Day around the corner, you might be making this for a special mum, a grandmother or just as a treat for yourself!

During this workshop, you'll be making the flowers and foliage pictured in colours of your choice - we have the most beautiful selection to choose from! 
You will learn how to thread the cord onto the wire and how to shape it. You'll practise first with a very simple flower. This will give you the confidence to make the rest. 
What's more, is that we are recycling our chai bottles - so you will have a vase to take your wire flowers and foliage home in! 
All this can be achieved in our workshop of up to one and a half hours. Drinks and cakes will be available to purchase throughout.

I cannot recommend the Crafty Cups Cotton Cord Wire workshops enough  - this is the second workshop I’ve attended and I’ve enjoyed both of them thoroughly.  I’ve walked away happy and impressed with what I’ve manage to create. 

Heather makes you feel soo welcome and at ease, she explains all the aspects of what it entails and is always on hand to help if you need her. 
There is such a relaxed atmosphere and such a great vibe. I’ve gone to both of the workshops on my own and haven’t felt like I’ve been on my own throughout them. 

I will definitely be booking on to another workshop.

We had a lovely morning  here. Such a fantastic idea and something for everyone. Our 4 year olds loved their crafty session where they made jelly fish and decorated fish using a celery stick dipped in paint to create  the scales. Our 1 year olds were also happily entertained with busy baskets and simple crayons and the grown ups enjoyed the delicious coffee and cake on offer! Nearby parking also made life easier!

Oh my goodness, what a fantastic find this was. 
I’ve never been before, and we’ve just moved back to Wilton. 
From the moment you step foot inside the crafty cup you are made to feel so welcome. Zoe greeted us and showed us where the craft session would be. 
My little boy who’s just turned 3 loved it and so did I!! 
It’s a wonderful place to also meet other mummas with similar aged children. 
It is from what I gather a popular session and does sell out fast- but if you can then do support Zoe and purchase your tickets for sessions!

We joined crafty cup for a “toddler craft session” last Friday and both had a lovely time. A warm, relaxed environment where the staff were very very kind and helpful. The craft itself was perfect for my 3 year old, he was able to do almost all of it himself (besides a little help cutting) and although it was simple, it was well thought out, and created a lovely colourful impact which my son really enjoyed. 
We will definitely be back again.

Neil Smith is a local graphic designer who cant stop doodling! Draw along with him as he doodles up some silly cartoons using simple shapes. An alpaca rapper, a tap-dancing turtle, or even a kite flying kangaroo!! 

Come and join the doodling fun at 9:45 on Saturday  5th April at The Crafty Cup! Please arrive any time from 9:30.

Suitable for 5 years upwards - we have paper and pens, but if you have a favourite sketch book, please bring it along.

This is a free community event (We do however kindly accept donations on the day to go towards other free events)
