Seascape in a Tin

We'll give you a blank tin, papers, paints, embellishments and all the tools for you to design and make a miniature Seascape. Are you thinking of mermaids,  light houses, a tropical paradise, a colourful reef, boats, fish or something else with your seascape tin? 

Please note that parents/carers must remain at The Crafty Cup. Feel free to sit nearby amd relax or you may wish to give a helping hand to your child.

All drinks and treats purchased will have a 10% discount on the day.

Get ready for a bug-tastic crafting adventure! Little explorers will create their own **bug antennae headband**, make a colourful **paper plate butterfly**, sculpt a **mini clay snail**, and enjoy our hands-on **Mini Beast playdough garden**. A relaxed, fun-filled session designed especially for younger children to enjoy with their grown-up.

**£12 per child | Maximum 10 children**

Doodle with Neil

Neil Smith is a local graphic designer who can’t stop doodling! 

Come and join the doodling fun at 9:45am on Saturday 23rd May at The Crafty Cup.

Please arrive any time from 9:30am

Suitable for ages 5 and up – we’ll have paper and pens ready, but if you’ve got a favourite sketchbook, feel free to bring it along.

This is a free community event 💗

(We do kindly accept donations on the day to help us run more free events – donation jars will be on the tables.)

Refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the session. We all squeeze in where we can, so we can’t guarantee groups sitting together. Please only book tickets for children attending, not adults.

Summer Holiday Children's Illustration Workshop with Tamara Webster- Magical Merfolk!

**🐚 Girls Night In: Scallop Shell Creations 🌊** 

&nbsp;

Embrace the summer, unleash your inner creativity in a relaxed and social atmosphere and let us guide you into  transforming natural scallop shells into stunning trinket dishes OR beautiful decorative keepsakes. 

For this 'Girl's Night In', you can choose from a beautiful selection of napkins to decoupage your scallop shell and then finish it off with  a selection of shiny embellishments to give your shell a pop.

Alternatively, you can choose to use your scallop shell as a canvas and create a seaside theme inside. You might like to use our example for inspiration or you can totally use your own creative talent - maybe you're thinking of great waves or a sunset? 

This workshop will gently guide you through the beginnings of decoupage techniques (if making the trinket dish), colour blending (if making the decorative keepsake), and adding chic embellishments to create personalized home treasures.

We’ll provide everything you need from beautiful patterned napkins and papers to embellishments paints and sealers. No artistic experience is required; if you can use a paintbrush, you can create a masterpiece!

Come solo and make friends or bring your buddies too! Enjoy some 'me time' and let Zoe and Heather host and guide you so that you leave with a beautiful handmade gift (or a treat for yourself!)

**Important Booking Information**  
To enable us to run the workshop, a minimum of **8 participants** is required. If minimum numbers are not reached, we may need to reschedule or cancel the session, and any deposits paid will be refunded or transferred to an alternative date.

Which project would you like to create?

Come and learn the basics of the art of quilling.  With colourful strips or paper and a quilling tool, we'll teach you how to make shapes to make your very own framed butterfly. You can choose to gift it to someone special or keep to to have pride of place at home.

Please note, parents/carers need to stay. You can chill out close by and enjoy 10% off all drinks and treats on the day.
